Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
I am coaching defense at a school that hasn't won a lot the past few years, one game in 4 years. Our first game is against a team that uses the single wing without a quarterback, two backs in proset direct snap, with a unbalanced line.
WHAT WOULD BE YOUR IDEAS ON PLAYING THIS?? I HAVE WATCHED A LOT OF GAME TAPE FROM LAST YEAR ON THEM, RUN 78% STRONG RIGHT AND EITHER A WEDGE OR A OFF TACKLE PLAY. ANY INSIGHT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!! i WOULD LIKE TO BE READY TO GIVE THESE KIDS A WIN TO GET THEM OUT OF THE LOOSING HABIT!!

I might ADD the DE & OLB on WING side can mix up who has C gap & who has D gap. They can get quick run support (in M/M) if the WB blocks (from Corner), or if TE blocks (from F/S).
To be honest, anybody that does ANYTHING 78% of the time you can defense. I would literally load up the box with 9 guys. Draw a line down the center and count the offensive players on each side. Adjust your defense accordingly.
Without know what exactly they do, you can bump your DLINE over a technique and also pull your LBs. Get creative.
