We've been running the air raid for 4 years now. It is a great offense. It is a blast. It'll get you and your kids noticed. It gets lots of different players involved (5 receivers and a QB)
1) You have to buy in. You can't add a few plays. 2) You have to practice like an air raid team.
Practice the offense and GET REPS!
The air raid guys DO NOT STRETCH! Instead they start out with drills that work to full speed.
Get out there and throw lots of passes
Noose Drill! PAT DRLL Pass Skel Pass under pressure You have to spend time of protection and blitz pickup!
Practice against every front imaginable. Teams completely change their defenses up when they play us. Be ready for that. Your kids need to be prepared for blocking different fronts and adjusting to coverages.
3) Teach your kids how to adjust on the fly. They need to adjust routes based on coverage. They need to rep finding holes in zones or running through man coverage.
