Just wondering. I am 28, and looking to start moving up the ladder in my coaching career. Not saying that coaching high school wouldn't do the same. Just tough to get into the bigger schools 5A and up without a teaching degree. My thought was to maybe go back to college some where and work on my graduate assistance and then work on masters.
If you can't get into a college job, get into a HS job of some type. Start making as many contacts with as many coaches as you can after that. You'll be surprised how fast you get to know someone who knows someone.

There is nothing that will show a man's true character like the 2 yard line.

Yeah, I have coached middle school, high school and did my internship *field experience tat the college level*. So I am defently wanting to keep getting better;) Obviously experience seems to be everything, but I have desire to absorb the knowledge, that is for sure! Just using this network too:)

Well, my next question:) Is anyone know some good high school coaches? I am willing to relocate. I have a defensive cord position here in Montana, but it's a smaller B school, and connections can be difficult here, as you dont travel much outside the state. I would like to and want to travel to some clinics this summer of course, but I would love to go learn and teach the game of football in a different place, maybe bigger;)? ANYONE know of anything, I am willing to do pretty much anything to get my foot in the door!
