This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
I was wondering what some peoples opinions are about this program. I know it has been around for awhile but I wanted know if it was something to look into or if there are better program out there. Thanks
Been around for quite a while, some will swear by it, others say it's ok. My advice is to look into it, and if you have the equipment and space to do it, then have at it. I personally think the BFS program lacks a good agility piece to it. If you have the time to run it and still get good agils in, then it can be very good.

There is nothing that will show a man's true character like the 2 yard line.
One of the most positive things I have heard about it is having them come to your school to do a presentation, the schools that I know who have done it say it has really been a big motivator for the kids to come work out. As far as the program goes, it is nice that it is all set up for you. In my opinion, for most high school and younger athletes who have not been part of a strong strength and conditioning program, it wouldn't make a whole lot of difference what they are doing, they are going to see huge gains at that time in their lives. If you don't have someone on your staff that has a lot of sport specific experience it is probably a good way to go.
Thanks, I appreciate the help. This is my first off-season on this coaching staff and two assistants have two completely different views about the program. The one who is against it wants to sumo deadlift

Any general program like BFS will have its problems and doubters (most times rightfully so) but they do a pretty solid job; its an organized, progressive program that focus on the compound movements. The in-house seminar gets everyone on the same page, and gets the kids to focus on breaking personal records. All really good things.
