Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
This was an adjustment we used to run out of our 44 to deal with power running games. We would reduce the DT's to a 2 tech, but other than that, it is pretty much the same. I would not shift the Will that far over, though. weak B gap is an easy iso right now. I would probably align him over the G reading the G to near back. That being said, if you have a stud for your Will, then by all means you can make it work. As it is, you have a ton of pressure on that kid.

There is nothing that will show a man's true character like the 2 yard line.
probably not, but you have a Mike who has no gap responsibility as it is. Using your basic alignment I would probably align my strong DT in a 2i to cover strong A, have my Mike with B-gap responsibility, and my will into a 20. If you really want that Mike stacked, I would stack him on a 2 technique (instead of the DT in a 2i). He should be able to flow well from there as the other OL are all covered. I'm a person who does not like to 2-gap unless I have a beast who can handle it with no worries.

That is not a bad suggestion. The original alignment is very vulnerable to strongside trap.
