Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
A situation came up where i recently interviewed for a job that I did not get, despite being "resume" much more qualified then the person who did (the person was one of my assistants with only 2 year of varsiy exp. But, he was a teacher in the school which I am not......moving on.
Among other things, I was told that I took the interview to casually, inserting some levity and making everyone in the room comfortable might not have been the best approach. I also referred to one of the people there who recently received a doctorate as "Doc" as a show of respect for her newly gained title. Apparantely that didnt go voer well.
I figured that keeping it relaxed should have demonstrated that I was confident in myself and abilities, not at all nervous about the interview or the task at hand, since the program has been a doormat for the past 20 years. Apparently, it was construed as being too casual.
Was I wrong in my approach? It turned out for the best that I didnt get the job, but I am still a little stung because I was grossly overqualified for the position and what I thought was a sign of confidence was taken as a show of casuality. But, I guess my approach of keeping it light was taken wrong. I decided to let my personality show a little, which I guess was wrong.
For those who have interviewed, have you kept everything "by the book" or did you relax and let your personality show a little?

Coach D as you mentioned with these types of interviews always address interviewers with their designated achievements such as Dr. and so on especially if you don't know the person. Also the perception of the others on the interview committee. Coach Campbell
