Saw this diagrammed by Oneback and seconded by a few vs. Wing T... It looks and sounds excellent... any changes for a Red/Blue (Double Wing-- both wings up no Diveback) and what changes if you want to double eagle the TNT at times? Big trap team...
ROVER & WILL: Line up 1 yd. outside the Wing & on the LOS. (Always challenge the Wing). 1. If the Wing blocks down, Rover replaces him closing down the running lane inside as much as possible, ready to take on a kick out block. 2. If the Wing comes AT Rover, Rover attacks the Wing with inside arm and leg, keeping outside arm and leg free. 3. If Wing goes in motion, Rover gets his eyes opposite back for a counter. If no motion and flow goes away, look for bootleg, counter, reverse before pursuit. 4. If the Wing releases, Rover plays his pass responsibility (flat in cover 3).
DE's - Line up in 7 technique - inside shoulder of TE (OR 6 = head up).
TACKLES - Line up in 3 techniques
NOSE = Line up in 0 technique
MLB = line up in 00 (stack behind the nose - 2 1/2 to 3 yds deep). Go to the ball on run. Playside hook on pass.
