Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
Coach MtJoy, I was wondering if you could go into a little detail with how you set up your run game with your formations when Y and H are on the same side. I have a pretty good grasp of your system when they are on opposite sides (Power to Y with H motioning, Counter to H with H motioning or no motion, IZ to H, OZ to Y, etc.) but was wondering for the same-side formations:
Yes - he motions to B gap & then comes back to kick out.
We ALSO (if there is a bubble over the On T (4-3 Over look) like this VARIATION (if DE good at spilling):
M----S ---T---E X-O-O-Y ---------H
If we have a GOOD Y - let him base ("load") the DE (try to take him straight back). H folds behind Y on S. T & G Duece DT (to BS/LB). Off G pulls & wraps thru the hole for MLB.
