Which is your base vs single width (Twins), Cloud or Corner Over? Scouting reports and personnel make and break the scheme but I was wondering what you other 44/42 guys run as your base vs. Twins? We run both but Cloud is our "base" then scouting report and personnel would dictate if we decide to go corner over.
Robber is our base call vs 2x1 but Twins and any other single width set checks us into Cloud. It's real easy to just go corner over but I hate being in a full man coverage. Cloud still gives us 2 deep and we are strong with the corner rolled up vs twins or tight slot. Both roll into robber when the slot or flanker motions across, back out to 2x2 presents when we are in corner over presents us with concerns but we would normally just run the OLB out on the back and have the FS still rob the TE.
I think corner over, we call it "Match", is GREAT and I do use it but its a decision we make when we game plan but its nothing more than cover 0.
Cloud is our base vs all single width sets 2x1 or 3x1.
I was just wondering what you all prefer.
For reference here is Cloud and Match. Maybe you guys call it differently.
