Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
Just wondering what types of misdirection you all run from a pistol alignment. I put in a double nasty slot formation (we call Navy) this season, which we run a rocket sweep to either of the slots. The toss sweep sets up a FB counter, QB counter or Slotback counter with the latter resembling the "Sally" from the Wing-T.
Since we utilize a ride and backside DE read on inside runs, I was curious as to what type of misdirection we might be able to run without offsetting a back. We did install a quick hitting trap to our offset FB from our two back set which has been a good addition to our offense. Just looking for more good ideas! Thanks!

We ran quite a bit of jet this season coach and added rocket as well out of a double nasty slot formation we called Navy. Same blocking for us on our counters (GT unless BST was covered) enabled us to get the ball to our QB off a jet ride, or IZ mesh or to our FB off of stretch action and Slot out of the set described above similar to the Sally from the Wing-T.
