1st interview this week

Well I did not get a second interview. I spoke with the AD and was told that I was the only coach brought in that had no previous head coaching experience, however, my portfolio was so professional looking they offered me an interview. I was told that I answered all questions with very good answers, but with the team being 2-28 over the past 3 seasons they felt they needed to go with a coach that had previous head coaching experience.

The guy that was hired has been the DC for the past couple years.. I am glad that I had the opportunity to go through the interview process and I will keep trying.

I would like to thank coach Campbell and everyone else on the site for the valuable information I have learned on here. The interview packet and the book "From Resumes to Championships" was a huge help!
