This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
I currently have 56 players that should and most will attend the weight room this winter training session. We drafted two teams of 28 players and are going to have a individual, group and team competitions. Players will be awareded 1 point for attendance and -5 points for unexcused absence. My goal is to create a competitive environment and use a shared leadership approach. Each team will have to keep attendance, communicate with players who are not giving great effort.
We will set lifting max goals and award points for max gains. Points will be awarded for establishing a personal record in any one of our core lifts, and we will have dip, pull-up and other max competitions.
Question:
1. Has anyone done a off-season competiton like this and can offer some suggestions? All suggestions are welcome.
I have a point system that we set up a few years ago. Basically it was there to equalize kids to some extent. Frankly we expected our 265 lb DT to bench and squat more than a 145 lb slot. So we set up an excel spreadsheet that took core lifts, body weight, shuttle times, etc and calculated it all together. It isn't perfect, but it was useful to us. email me at kelly.fbcoach@gmail.com and I can send it to you.

There is nothing that will show a man's true character like the 2 yard line.
