Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
Using Coach Campbell's manual and terminology, what defenses would you play vs a wing t team who operates out of a double slot and TE/wing slot set. Base plays-jet, jet-belly, sweep, trap. Thanks
Coach, play the 22i Tight and beat the heck out of their halfbacks. The 22i will get the linebackers closer to the sweep, and the 1-technique will hurt the trap game. I run the Jet and I know that if you abuse our halfbacks, we will be in a war. If they run jet sweep to the tight end side let me know how they run it and I can be able to help you further. Let me know who they pull when they run it to the tight end side. Hope to hear from you further on this issue, Coach Madden.

They block down with the wing and kick out with the tackle.
Caoch, quick question. In the manual, are DOGS blitzes. I think they are but I have always thought a dog is something else. Also, what are your favorite blitzes out of the 40.
Talking personnel, describe what you would be looking for as far as the type of athlete for each position on the defense. Thanks
Coach, if they run jet to the tight end side and pull the tackle, defending the jet is easy. Tell your inside linebackers to key tackle. When tackle pulls, get in his hip pocket and he will always take you to the play. Teams usually influence and use false keys with their guards and not their tackles. Tell your kids to read the offensive tackles.
As far as personnel for 22i Tight, you need OLB's who enjoy abusing others, and it helps if your DE's will do the same. Everyone else must stay disciplined and play assignment football. That's what you need to do.
Any further questions, please let me know.
