Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
I'm coaching the OL/DL this year which is all new to me and I'm studying my butt off. One problem area I've encountered is with pass rush countermoves as I can find very little material dealing with this.
I know about the Swim being the countermove for the Rip. But that's it. So if anyone could provide me with some information about other countermoves that would be appreciated.
I'm assuming you're at the HS level. If you are at the college level, you might take my word worth a grain of salt. When I coached line, I tried to keep it simple. I worked bull rushes, swims, and rips primarily. On the occasions that I had the athletes who could do it, spin moves, but my primary focus was teaching hand strikes, gap control, reading OL techniques and NOT the backfield, and dealing with double teams.

There is nothing that will show a man's true character like the 2 yard line.
