Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
Can anyone tell me how they best block the split zone out of the Pistol? I have a tank of a QB and want to be able to utilize him more in the zone read game.
By split zone, do you mean split flow, as from a two back set coach? From our base pistol set, we utilize a midline type mesh on most of our run game in order to take advantage of an overly aggressive backside end (chase read). There are certainly lots of different ways to get there IMO.
