I just received my first head coaching position at a lowly program. It is a small school and there is some but not a lot of community support. Funds are also low. But they are trying, almost complete on a new stadium and practice fields, new uniforms, and small upgrade in facilities. The principal, who is a graduate of this school, told me the first order of business is to get participation up and raise some money. I've yet to meet any booster members, nor have I been told who has previously been in the club. What suggestions do any of you have for quick fundraisers during the summer that don't take much to organize or if you have simply any advice for a young coach that needs some.
