Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
I think that I now have a pretty good grasp of the midline from reading this website and seeing Coach Campbell's midline video. My question is on the C and BSG. How do they step if you have a DT lined up in a 2 tech and a backer stacked behind him. My guess is that the BSG will take a lateral step to the right and attack the playside jersey number. Center will take a lateral step to the left and attack the near ear of the DT. Looking to move up to the next level if the DT slants away. Is this even close to correct? When would the double team move to the next level? Any help would be great.

Coach your on the right track with the combo back side which I call an ACE Combo. The combo will track the path of the scraping linebacker has they push towards the Linebacker. Use the near ear rule for helmet placement and track the backer and don't come off the combo until the backer reaches the same level as the offensive linemen. Coach CAmpbell
