Gun option

What type of drop step should he take?

I am referring to the inside WR taking a drop step as the option back. The RB in the backfield will be running a counter w/ the qb reading the backside DE as described in the manual but I would like to see how it works running option w/ an inside receiver. Thanks

Coach if you are trying to dropstep the receiver he would do it with his outside foot which would help him arc into his proper pitch relationship. or on the snap of the ball sell the inside stalk and then drop step with the outside foot to freeze the invert on the QB. Coach CAmpbell
