James Ferrell’s Coaching Staff Philosophy
Our coaches aspire to become complete instructors, who will earn the trust of all our customers by fostering a dynamic environment which encourages ongoing improvement using the best ideas and systems – James Ferrell’s Coaching Staff Philosophy
Collaboration among our coaching staff. An unmotivated assistant will produce an unmotivated athlete.
To insure motivational consistency for our athletes, I feel it is critical for head coaches to create a motivational action plan for each of their assistant coaches and support staff. This idea stems from indirectly motivating the athletes through a highly motivated assistant coaching experience. It makes sense that head coaches encourage their assistants to increase the depth of their knowledge to better provide a ground-level, high quality experience to the individual athletes.
My Promise to my Coaching Staff
I recognize that I CAN’T lead this team on my own. I require coaching partners in order to make a difference in the lives of our student athletes.
I promise to devote my time and resources to creating a relationship founded on mutual trust and genuine conviction. It is my goal to build a determined and integrated coaching unit, a collection of passionate associates that believe in the same vision and core values. I promise to actively involve YOUR talents and desires in the planning of our program’s success, while empowering your character to achieve your own coaching goals.
I promise to be considerate of your needs. I promise to foster Coaching Staff Goals and allow each of your talents to support in the achievement of our team objectives. My responsibility as this program’s head coach is to ignite your passion for coaching and by bring each of you together, I will create an atmosphere of equal understanding and opportunity.
I promise to commit to your growth as a coaching leader and develop your skills and abilities. You are in control of your own coaching career and I require that while you serve our program, you feel capable and confident.
I promise to be the First to Trust!
