just wondering if there are any efficient ways/ideas for organizing depth charts. i am looking for something on microsoft word. also, any inexpensive ways to have something hanging in the coaches room. thanks
Coach, Go to your local hardware store and purchase a piece of white board. The stuff that makes shower walls is great and pretty inexpensive. Cut it to size and take your time drawing out the depth chart in permanant marker. You can now write players' names in dry erase. Erase a name and the permanent chart is still there. Frame the board with wood if you can so it can be moved or mounted with out ripples. Hope this helps. Coach TSB
Coach, depth charts are a great way to let your players know where they stand. I would just write it on a dry-erase board and update it when necessary. Sometime doing less is more. This is a simple suggestion, but I am a big advocate of posting depth charts for all to see.
