Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
Has anyone who runs the tackle pull read play out of the gun tried to run it trapping the one tech? It seems on paper that if you run it away from a tight end trips formation back to the one technique that it could be a great play, especially if the free safety vacates the middle of the field.

Coach the tackle trap from the gun is an excellent play not only because of the backside read by the QB, but for being able to account for the two inside LBers with proper angles. I run the Tackle Trap as a primary run play from our gun with the tackle trapping the first down defender past the center. Coach CAmpbell
Northwestern has been very successful with this paly. I was actually referring to trapping the one tech above. Have the center and guard "brush " him on the way to the next level. We start summer camp this week so I am interested in seeing how it works.
