Defensive Line Techniques

Coach, it varies from system to system. Coach Campbell's alignment system is the following:

0- head up on the center
1- shade on the center
A-Gap
2i- inside shade on the guard
2- head up on the guard
3- outside shade on the guard
4i- inside shade on the tackle
4- head up on the tackle
5- outside shade of the tackle
7- inside shade on the tight end
6- head up on the tight end
9- outside shade on the tight end

That is Coach Campbell's system. Some vary in numbers, but Coach's way is a pretty conventional way. I will discuss this further if need be. Good Luck.
