Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
My son is on a Jr. High team that does not want any kid to quit or be kicked off. Talking back to coaches is common, late or no shows to practice, refusing to run punishment drills, and yet these kids still play. My son starts and is early to practice and gives 110. How do I Justify to my son that these kids are playing as much as he is.
I'm not sure you can, if in fact that is happening. I think you need to stress to your son the importance of continuing his commitment and his work ethic because it will pay off in the long run. Focus on him and continually reinforce the importance of being on time...paying the price...etc. and avoid focusing on the behavior and lack of commitment of the others. This is not only a lesson about success in athletics...but success in life...he will be the one who is respected and rewarded as he moves along while the others will fade. pdow
That is pretty much the answers i have been giving him. Concentrate on what you can influence or control and the rest will take care of itself. Thanks for the response pdow.

pdow27 - nicely said. Coyote like coach said your son maintains his work ethic and commitment and contiues to lead by example. Hopefully some of those players and coaches will be influenced by him. You may never know at the time the impact that you make upon others. As time goes on the work and commitment your son has put forth will pay-off while others are left behind.
