work as hard as u can to get as much as u can, then enjoy it when u have it all.
Your size is not a problem...unless you are looking at the top of the line, DIA schools..you might want to start learning LB stuff. When I was your age I wish I would have ordered some tapes or books on DL play BEFORE I got to college. This way I could have known what they were going to teach ahead of everyone else and maybe started as a freshmen. Knowledge is the key..there are reads and situations that the vets are going to know about and you aren't, simply because you have never seen that stuff in high school. The fact that you are asking the question is a good sign of character already. You gotta break a 5.0 40-time. Other than that just remember--ther is no off-season in football, it's a year round sport--outwork everybody. Good Luck
I agree with everyone else, you need to find speed. I was also in the same situation when I got to college: I wish I had known the stuff they were going to teach me. I never had a dline coach until college. But one thing that helped me when I got to college was the off season running work outs. I joined the running backs and wr in speed training and dropped my 40 speed from 5.1 to 4.9. It really helped (being taught how to run).
I would suggest joining the track team and learning how to run from the coaches. If you can shed .3 seconds, it will greatly improve your play.
