We have had success within the following:
1. "34" (really 3-2-6 personnel):
---a. Rush 7 (with change ups in the front 7 to disrupt their protection scheme) with 4 defensive backs playing Man coverage. We look for ways to exploit some weaknesses in their 6 man protections (especially "double reads" by uncovered OLM), in order to get a rusher free to the QB. This was the BEST thing we did!
---b. OR, rush 3 & drop 8 men in zone coverage out of the "34" (playing Cover 2 OR Cover 3).
2. "4-2-5":
---a. With Man/Free coverage (with "Rat").
---b. Max Blitz Man.
NOTE: We play MORE Man than Zone because with their wide splits - Zone coverage BECOMES essentially Man anyway. Disguise these defenses to look the same.
