What fronts/coverages do you like to run this play against? Which ones do you stay away from? Thank you.

12/13 Read is run off the inside veer towarfs the tight end side. Put your Tailback in motion, if the outside invert does not adjust then throw the tailback the ball, If the outside invert adjust towards the TB motion then hit the tight end on a seam route running away from the free safety. If you get two defenders adjusting then the QB will carry out inside veer. Coach CAmpbell

Is it safe to assume that the QB knows who he is going to before the ball is snapped?

Coach if only the outside invert moves he then throws to the tight end. If no outside invert movement he throws to the running back. If any two defenders move he then runs inside veer. If the QB gets the throw read he just pulls up on the snap of the football and throws. Coach Campbell
