We are primarily a spread team, and are looking to spice up our weakside running attack. What are your favorites. We do run some offset I from time to time also.
I love an isolation play, and inside veer to the weak side. I think it is very tough for a defense to play both of them. Most teams roll the coverage to the strong side so they do not have as much support to the weak side. To counter this they have to play some sort of cover 2 or 4, or use a cover 3 with a fast flow free safety. All of these leave them vulnerable to the strong side passing game as well as runs.
You can run an so with the QB as the ball arrier out of gun, or quick motion a wing to pitch and run inside veer.
