What is the blocking scheme for this play?? I've heard Coach Campbell talk about on here a couple of times. I've seen alot of NFL teams run it in pre season games.
Is the frontside blocked exactly like ISO while the backside uses cutoff and reach techniques to get the defense reacting playside so it opens up the cutback?

The frontside is blocked just like ISO. The way the cutback works is by the way the Tailback reads the playside LBer. If the LBer being Isolated triggers and fills the line of scrimmage hard then the Tailback will cut backside. If the LBer plays soft he then hits it inside and follows his fullback. The cutback is kown as the backside of the "V". Coach CAmpbell

Coach Joe the near ear rule will set the backside blocking away from the callside. Use a slow rotating blocking scheme for best results. Coach CAmpbell
