We have a very small center...would be in the backfield w/ most teams...he is very consistent with his shotgun snaps...but he just gets manhandled on just about everything we do. We are trying our RG at center...he is a pretty good player...but he struggles w/ shotgun snaps....usually his bad snaps are over the head of the QB...any suggestions on snapping technique? Thanks---and based on the times of your posts, it appears you need very little sleep.....pdow.
Hey, I'll throw my two cents in on this if yoiu dont mind. I was student coaching at a high school we had our jr high center had this problem. I took him to the side during half time of a game and we worked on four point stance and snaps for shot gun. It fixed it for us, you might try it.

The type of stance controls the trajectory of the ball. A 3 point stance will keep the ball down and a 4 point stance tends to make the ball raise. Coach CAmpbell
