Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
I am looking for ways to motivate my players during practice. I coach at a fairly successful high school and I feel like my kids just go through the motions at practice. We do not have the talent level we have had in the past and I cannot get my kids to understand that they cannot win on reputation alone. Reputation probably helps us against the weaker teams but we can never seem to win the big game. Our practices are organized and our coaches coach, but our kids do not seem to have the same fire at practice that they used to. I like the way our practice schedules are set up because we do get a lot work done but our players don’t seem to be very excited. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Players feed off of your coaches... I recently visited BGSU's spring practice... It was the most up tempo, competitive, exciting practice I have ever seen... The coaches were on fire for the boys (they chatted every player and situation up and corrected every single mistake that I saw... nothing was left to be just "Okay") and the players matched the emotions. The whole team moved from session to session with a sense of purpose and an attitude of get after it. It was fun to watch, but I think the coaches and players had the most fun that day.
In football, your players will give you what you allow them to give.
