we run the counter tre out of the I. We ploay a 4-3 team this week who really crashes their de's hard to c gap. any suggestions on how to block this. Our main concern is that our TE can't get inside of de to backer level. Should we have our TE try to wash DE down and hit outside? any help would be pooreciated.

I guess you have already played this game, but I would think that if you can anticipate the ends crashing, then washing them down should work pretty well. The kick out guard would kick out the next man or turn inside for the linebacker. The wash down block might clog things up for that linebacker that you are worried about reaching. If you want the TE to block the linebacker, you could try an outside release. This may ensure that he gets there. It also may widen the end a little which would help with the kickout block. Let me know what you went with and the success of it--curious

Pulling G takes man TE would normally block if he blocked inside.
