Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
What do you coaches like to do against over load blitzes? An example would be the defense brings 4 guys off the weakside when you only have 3 blockers? The QB is responsible for the extra guy off the strong side, and the back is blocking strong. Do you sight adjust with the weakside receiver? Make the QB responsible for the 4th rusher weak?
How about zone blitzes? What are some of your favorite hot routes againt a zone blitz? I like seam routes because the dropping d-lineman or linebacker usually won't get in the way, as opposed to a slant or flat route.

If four off the backside come we use a double read system and a read out by one of our backs when in a two back formation. If 4 off the backside and one back I use what I call scat protection that puts the running back changing his possible path to that side if need be. Coach CAmpbell
