Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
Coaches tell me what you do and why: Snap count- verbal, like under center, or silent? Linemen stance- 2 pt. or 3 pt.? Changing plays- do you let your QB change the play? How do you do it? What does he look for? Thanks
We use a verbal snap count. The QB is only 4 yards farther back, we dont change the system for the gun.
Linemen - 3 point stance because we feel that it is alot easier to run block out of a 3 point.
Changing Plays - We run a few check plays where we look for a few different things. We dont let him completly change the play but we sometimes send in 2 plays and tell him to read the defense.
