Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
I am looking for some feedback to help me decide what is best for my situation. I am a youth coach that is looking into purchasing some material from jcfb.com but I am having a hard time figuring out what to buy.
My short list is the following;
-O-line manual -ultimate running game
I know that in most cases there is some overlaping info out of the above items. I am a youth coach so some of the advanced stuff is not for me but I am looking for the most detailed explinations on blocking. I am more of a power blocking and Iso type offense so zone concepts are above my head.
I would like to know which of the above manuals would adapt to a youth coach and which explains the "parting the sea" concept as well as has many diagrams of double tight sets.

Coach Carbon enjoy having you come to our site. I would suggest the Ultimate running game manual because it will give you what you need and more. The running game is complete with blocking schemes, etc. Very easy to follow and install. Hope you have a great Christmas. Coach CAmpbell
Coach, I too am a youth coach at the Jr. HS/9th grade level. I was the offensive coordinator of the team and previously had only coached QBs and WRs. The new head coach had no desire to coach line so I was forced to be the line coach and learn it fast. I bought Dave Christianson's (U Missouri) "Coaching Offensive Lineman" and was completely impressed with this book. It is probably the most valuable book I have in my library. I also have Coach Campbell's Option manual, which I found to be a great resource. However, in combination with the O Line book, the Option manual became easier to understand and implement. There is probably a lot more info in the book than you need at this time, but in terms of developing base blocking and trapping linemen, the information in this book is exactly what you need. I don't know if the Ultimate running game manual includes a section on line calls and some of the upper level stuff like the option manual, but if it does, and your players are old enough to understand it, and you are a good enough teacher to teach it, this combo would probably be more than enough information to develop a pretty good offensive line, which is THE key to winning football games (with apologies to all you defensive coaches out there). I don't know if Coach Campbell carries this book in his bookstore, but it is easy enough to find in the local Barnes and Noble.
