Can anybody tell me which is most beneficial and why? I was told that most scoop because it is simpler and but I seem to kike the idea that Coach Campbell has on "Parting the sea"

Part The Sea terminolgy is used with the ISO game in which you use the near ear rule and any combo will slow rotate backside of the point of attack. The scoop was one of the original zone concepts that incorporate a full exit with the playside lineman, with a backside take over. Coach CAmpbell
Coach I would not say it is outdated. Watch the Denver Broncos. Their base run pay is an inside zone with the fullback leading inside. They zone block all the way and the fullback tries to iso on a backer, and the back can cutbak depending on the flow of the defense. They almost always run it at a shade (1 tech).

Coach Joe the scoop is used as a full exit on the backside of a combination block. The backside scoop was one of the original terms used for explaining fast zone combinations. The "Part The Sea" term as I have used is designed to help explain to counter rotating zones at the point of attack with the ISO game. The scoop that the Broncos use is with the full stretch scheme.
