What plays do you think will be most successful in the red zone when you run a 4 wide one back Offense. We generally will see a 6-1 look with cover 0 behind it. The OLB's will blitz almost always. I love the sneek.

First off let me say that I am more of a defensive guy, but I do have some ideas on this. I'm not sure if you mean red zone or goal line, b/c a sneak isn't always good from out at the 20, where the red zone starts, but here's a few ideas. 1. From about the 20-10 outside zones, draws (either qb or tb), or sweeps with motion from a slot to either bring an extra blocker to the play side or to draw men away from the play side for runs. As for passes, crossing routes, slants and even the occassional hitch and go work well as passes. You also try a highly thrown fade route to the back corner of the end zone. These will get the ball out of your qbs hands quickly to avoid the blitzing olbs and the crossing routes will take advantage of the man to man coverage that most teams play in the red zone. 2. From 10 to about 2-3, the draw is nice and so are the outside zones. The fade is very nice, especially with a slant combo. You can also try rollouts off of play action. 3. 2-3 in, the qb sneak is nice, but teams will start to get an idea that you like that in there and pinch thier dts tight to stop that. My biggest advice for this is to develop some sort of short yardage package. I realize you have your base offense, but having that much spread in such a small area really limits your offense. I hope I've helped a little. Good luck with it.
