I am interested in the "new" Zone play that people are starting to run more and more. Denver Broncos make a living off of it and Univ of Iowa is running it some now too. Univ of Miami also.
Run to the TE side. FB leads through the bubble to the frontside ILB. TB can still bend it all the way back behind the Center or Bounce it.
This play has been good for us because we don't have to leave the backside DE unblocked and we have more punch at the point of attack.
It is really good vs. 1 technique defenses because you can get a double team on the 1.
Would like to discuss more with others that more experience with this scheme. Also, if there is any good video out there on this scheme please recommend.
