Coaches, I'm just looking at how you all run the one back, double twins, gun offense.
my question is this, what plays do you compliment the tackle trap with for the QB? i know of the 5 tech read play, but i thought about running the tackle trap/lead concept to a 1 technique. The PS G and C block ace lion to backside backer (4-2 look) and the PS T highwalls the 5 technique, riding him upfield. BS G bases the 3 tech. and the BS tackle pulls leading up on PS LB. anyone run this scheme? and do you have any coaching points or advice on it? heard that Northwestern was succesful with this, anyone know if they still run it?
