During Nebraska's game vs. Miami for the Nat. Champ., one of the plays that Neb. was having success running was what looked like an inside counter tre:
vs. a 4-4 w/ a 7 tech on TE, 3 tech on PSG, 1 on BSG and 5 on BST
TE: OLB
PST: Block out to 7 tech (or Down to PSILB)
PSG: Down to BSILB (or influnence out to 7 tech)
C: 1 tech
BSG: Pull and trap 3 tech
BST: Pull and turn up inside of trap by BSG and block PSILB (or pull and block BSILB)
FB: Block backside 5 tech
TB: Counter steps
What do you think? Has anyone ever tried this at the H.S. level? Would love to discuss this scheme.
