Well you really have to work total body. That means chest, biceps, triceps, Lats, shoulders, back, abs, quads, and calves. Bench press, bent over rows, cleans, squat, leg press, tricep extension, bicep curls, the rowing machine, calf raises All those are great workouts, and it depends on the eqipment you have to use at your school.
There are no set standards for what a kid at a weight should bench press. I think there are better guidlines for age group. So what year are you in school, and how many years in the weight room have you had. All you really need is steady improvement.

If you havent really worked out extesively at all and you are 14 years old even 100 pounds on the bench would be good, but trust me it all comes in due time. I basically started weight training in 8th grade. Then I started by benching 80 pounds. By the time I was a senior my max was about 350 or more. So work hard and you can get as strong as you want. It just takes time effort and will power.

thanks for all the help, but one more question...how much did you weigh at the time you were 14 and the time you were and senior, and how many lifts did you do a night. also, how long did it take to up your weights on the bench?
