coach when we are comming off the ball we tend to show our numbers to early. I think this is because we are trying to see the L.B. do i just need to keep at it and they will come around?

Coach make sure that your linemen focus their punch on the top of the jersey number of the defender, only show jersey number if you feel the defender staqrting to get back on his heels. Stick with them and keep asking questions. Coach CAmpbell
SILVERADO, AND OTHERS, I WENT TO PORT LAVACA AND GOT AN OLD SHRIMP NET. I CUT A 15 BY 25 RECTANGLE OUT OF THE CENTER. I DROVE 4 T-POST FENCE POSTS INTO THE GROUND AT CORNERS AND SUSPENDED THE NET ABOUT 4 FEET OFF THE GROUND. WE WORK 3 ON 3 ON OUR EXPLOSION OFF THE BALL, INITIAL PUNCH, DRIVE THE DEFENDER OUT OF THE NET AND AS YOU EXIT SHOW NUMBERS AND BRING THE PECKER TO THE MAN WITH A VIOLENT SHOVE OFF FOR FINISH. I CAN SEE THEM GETTING BETTER EVERY DAY. TOTAL COST ABOUT 25 DOLLARS--FENCE POSTS WERE AT THE MAINT. DEPARTMENT, GUY WIRE-50 FEET, TURNBUCKLES TO KEEP IT TIGHT, AND A LITTLE TIME AFTER SCHOOL TO INSTALL IT.
