Coach I use line calls to set the blocking schemes as they apply to each play called. I teach the zone concept of blocking so we are always working to get as many combos towards the play as we can. Coach CAmpbell
Coach Jess, I have always had them call whatever technique that is playing over them.
Ex. Center has a nose then he has a Zero tech. If he has a shade then call shade right. If he is uncovered then he has no man, and so on down the line. If done correctly then the blocking becomes easier .

pdiddy zone blocking schemes should be geared to the way the back gets the ball. The footwork and track that you use for your offensive linemen should relate to the angle and path you want start your back off at. Zone schemes are designed to create combos and for tracking LBers and stunting D-linemen. Will look forward to helping you with this. Coach CAmpbell
