This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
The full implementation of the one and two back Gun Offense, run and pass game. Also, this manual features the no back throwing game. The Gun Option manual is loaded with information with no stone left unturned. The Gun offense is probably one of the most sought after offenses today.

I BOUGHT IT, I LOVE IT ,THE KIDS LOVE IT, I'M SOLD ON THIS OFFENSE! THE BOOK IS EXCELLENT AS WELL AS ALL THE BOOKS I HAVE PURCHASED FROM COACH CAMPBELL. IF YOU RUN THIS STYLE OF OFFENSE THIS A IS A MUST!
I am looking for Coach Campbell and Coach Landsdell to answer this question: With all the publications you have written about various offenses and defenses...what do you run on O and D? I am not trying to pin you down, I just simply would like to know. Personally we base from the I and run alot of double dive and veer option. Last season we used more gun since our personnel fit. Next year we are looking at more gun and spread stuff since we will have a lot of kids to play WR and only a few at RB.
Thanks.

I got a lot out of it, especially the run game stuff like Tackle Trap / End Read. Basically I haven't been disappointed with anything I've gotten from Coach Campbell or Coach Lyle....

Offense: I believe that an offense has the greatest amount of flexibility with a tight end and two backs. However, how you deploy those three positions can create some advantageous match-ups. I fully recognize the benefits of one-back and empty sets, and in deed use them, but when the lights go on, if we are fortunate enough to have a tight end and two backs that is what we will use about 60 to 70% of the time. The type of plays and run/pass mix will depend upon our players, so it changes from year-to-year, or week-to-week depending upon injuries.
Defense: I use the 30 stack because it is the only defense that puts 6 in the "tackle-to-tackle" box. We don't cover the tight end, using the "common version" of the Stack. The stack is easily adjusted to the various types of offenses that we see, and allows us to run a variety of stunt packages, and coverage packages. It is adaptable to all types of defensive abilities from small/fast to big/slow, however regardless of the scheme, you must be able to tackle.
