Does anyone have a good handout for grading players on film? Need something simple that allows for good feedback and ability to highlight 2-3 areas for each player to improve in the upcoming week of practice.

The day after the game, we will have our usual grading of the film, light weight and running workout, brunch, then distribution of the grades to the players and the watching of the film. Hopefully this can be done by twelve. Whilea ll of this is going on, freshman coaches will be in charge of breaking down opponent film. We will use hudl so access to the films will be easy and everyone can access them whenever they please. While varsity and JV are going through their workouts and film watching, the freshman staff will track the opponents plays on offense by down and distance, formation, motions/shifts, ball position (hash), and type of play. and on defense, identify their base look, and line games, blitzes, and favorite coverages. They will also identify their "go to" guys. Everyone will be done, no later than 12:30pm on Saturday.
Sunday we will reconvene at 1:30pm to meet for game planning for the upcoming week. We will get first impressions from the freshman coaches and any tendencies they notice off the top, after watching their assigned game (If it is at all possible, I'd like to send scouts to the actual game while our game is in progress). Once we complete the briefing from the freshman staff they are dismissed and the JV and Varsity coaches will convene from there. If the freshman staff wants to stay it is up to them. They will be briefed on our game plan/scouting Sunday evening, via email.
Offensive coaches and defensive coaches will take their intel and meeting separately so that they can go through the film with the plays already scripted. This way they don't have to go too in depth but they may also observe any points of interest or tendencies revealed in the script sheets. We will identify strengths and weaknesses. We will plan to avoid their strengths and we will devise the plan of attack against their weaknesses. Hopefully this will take no longer than 3 hours from start to finish. Once offensive and defensive game plans are developed, we will look at special teams as a group and try to identify what their strengths are. We will also look for any wrinkles they may put in as some coaches like to get cute on special teams and take advantage in the phase of the game. Before we leave, hopefully around 5:30 pm, the JV coaches will have been put in charge of typing up and making copies of the scouting report and they will be ready for distribution Monday before our team meeting.
