Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
Coach Campbell, I'm trying to fully understand your pass protection schemes as I used them last year but more of a bastardized version. Have been spending a lot of time going over them against various formations and think I'm getting it so that I can teach it to my kids. however, sometimes I put on paper a look that screws me up, so if i can describe a couple of looks, I'd appreciate your feedback.
Ace formation: A - back slotted left, X split w/ TE right, Z split 5 tech & 3 tech to openside, 1 tech, 4i tech, & 6 tech to TE side I'd use a mollie call , center punching 1 but looking for B/S backer, OG on 3, OT on 5 TG on 1, TT on 4i, FB double reading inside out. Is this correct?
Trey formation:openside 5 tech & 2 tech, backer in the B gap off the ball, 1 tech to TE, 4i to TE, 6 tech, with P/S/B in a 2 tech off the ball. Same rules as above?
Ace formation: 5 - 2 look, 4 tech to O/S with OLB up on los, backer over guard off the ball, nose, backer in 2 tech off the ball, 4 tech tackle, 9 tech to TE Tackles BOB, OG double read Collie Call, Center BOB, TG help, key backer, FB checks inside to OLB P/S
I'm sure I'll have others as time goes on, but if I'm on the right track, I'd appreciate knowing it. Thanks
I've got the manuals and I keep reviewing them, and with your help i hope to have a full understanding of the pass pro. I'm hope this will also help others.
