Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
What are some different things you do within your program to keep team morale at a high level. We all know that winning games is the most effective way, but there are other little ideas, procedures and programs that can be done to promote positive attitude, teamwork, level of enjoyment and satisfaction and, ultimately, team morale.

Team morale is helped when each and every player is made to feel important that each player has a role in the outcome of a game. Your only as good as the last player on your team or the weakest coach on the staff. Coach CAmpbell
One little thing that I do in my program is to celebrate each players birthday during a meeting or after a workout that day and present him with a birthday cupcake. Just a little thing, but it means a lot to the players to know the coaches are thinking of them on that manner.
Well we like to keep morale high by giving out awards. We give spirit stickers for performance. We award a player of the week. We play a great and entertaining game of 4 on 4 on Thursday's, where we line up 3 linemen and a RB against 3 D-Linemen and a LB or DB. We pit the mainly offensive players against the mainly defensive players. The losing team runs sprints. These sprints arent hard either. What he do is tell them to run until the whistle in blown, which is only about 2-3 seconds. The kids have a great time with it, and it boosts morale for the whole squad, because it is something that they look forward to and enjoy.

Ok I almost forgot my favorite one. We do have a so called player of the week for practice. This is a school tradition that has been going on since 1991. Each Thursday the players have a little talk after practice while still on the practice field. The captains speak and the grand poohbah speaks. What the grand poohbah is, is an elected member of the senior class from the previous senior class' grand poohbah. This guy is like the funny man, yet dedicated member of the senior class. Each week he and the captains pick a practice player of the week. The it is said that that player "has bush". What that means is that they get to jump into a bush that sits outside the locker room on the walk back to school. So all member of the team run up to the bush and form 2 lines by the bush, sort of like two lines when introducing players at the games. Then the player gets a running start and hops into the bush. THIS is the best part of the practice week, well except the games of course.
