Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
Coaches would like to discuss initial footwork and reads by the Tailback running the inside zone running plays along with the footwork on the Stretch. Remember this as we install the zone running game; footwork by your offensive line is determined by the angle and location by which the Tailback receives the football. Coach Campbell

For the inside zone play that I teach and install I build it off split flow. The Tailback will drop step with his playside foot on the snap of the ball and then will cross over or roll over with his backside foot aiming for the outside hip of the guard. The Tailback is looking to read the playside LBer and by running off the hip of the guard he will force the playside LBer to scrape thus cutting backside of him, I call this running the backside of the "V" Coach CAmpbell

remeber make your cut off the back heels of your lineman make the LBers committ. If you cut to soon then they can react and don't over committ. Coach CAmpbell
