Installing Today’s Hybrid Pistol Offense Run & Pass from Top to Bottom
This manual provides you with the full offensive line, receiver, and quarterback mechanics for installing each offensive play presented. Coach Campbell has left no stone unturned for implementing today’s Pistol Offense into your program.
Coach, we are ordering your materials on the option. We saw Coach Vint this weekend in AC and he was awesome in his presentations. Our questions are: We are small in the o=line. Would the I be suitable for us? We were thinking on the Navy double slot style. I'd like to run some things by you if I could. We have a fast qb who can throw, a good fullback and 2 decent rb's, and 2 average Se's. Our oline will be 3 sopf and 2 juniors. We do not have a true Te. Look forward to hearing from you.

Coach Nick great to hear from you and indeed I'm very proud of coach Vint, he's a fine young coach. Coach the "I" wi;; be very suitable for your kids. Must people when they think of the "I" they think of a big fullback. The reality of it because you will run the option along with it is that the fullback be a runner not a blocker. Coach Campbell
Coach, are you saying the double slot would be not as good for us because of motion tendencies and lack of a tightend? I guess the I formation (we have been a spread wing t team for a while) makes me think of 9 in the box, press coverage and being so small, we do not match up well. Thanks for the continued input.
I told Coach Campbell about a team who played us in a 50 front, with both safeties at linebacker depth, so they had 9 in the box. He said, shedule them every week if you can. We scored 28 points in six minutes. They couldn't get on our pitch back. We ran slotted the TE and paired load and veer. Then, we ran play action off the veer. They had 9 in the box, but we were able to call best option and account for every playside defender.
