Silverado 21 if a 422 is called and you get outside flow it will depend if you are the monster lb or the jet lb. If you are the jet lb, you will look to the open a gap as you are scraping. When no threat to A gap you continue to scrap over the top staying inside out of running back. If you are the Monster you are a HIT player, (there is no open gap) the d-line has responsibility for A,B,C and D gaps. Remember when the defensive line slants strong the weak point of the defense is the weak side so you don't need to be in as much as a hurry as you would if the defense line were playing base or HIT technique.
