Stan Zweifel Coaching Zone Offense Videos... Has anyone seen these videos? Any comments are welcome. If anyone wants to trade for some coaching videos on the zone/stretch please contact me at tbran1996@aol.com
Coach, I have both of the books that you have, and the 1st 3 videos (inside outside and playaction).. the videos run very parallel to the books. No game film or anything. It is chalk-talk the whole way. The films reinforce what the book says, and might clear up one or two things. I am going to buy the 4th video (skills and drills) this week, and probably the "analyzing inside-zone running schemes" tape that zweifel has. If anyone has any info on these videos it would be greatly appreciated. Trying to put in the zone next year and looking for some good footage to show the kids in the classroom of what it should look like. If anyone has any info on where I could get some good game footage, I would appreciate it a bunch. I have a small collection of stuff to trade also. E-mail me if interested at dankerholz@hotmail.com... thanks for your time coaches
I've got the Vol. 1 and the skills and drills video. Vol. 1 is all chalk talk, skills and drills is video of skills and drills. Both helped me clear up some misconceptions I had. I'll probably buy the rest of the set - even though it's mostly chalk talk, it's loaded with good info. Another good reference is a new DVD that consolidates all of George DeLeone's eariler videos on teaching sequences for zone, drive, and pass blocking.
I'm down to one thing I'm a little unclear on at this point. Coach Z talks about a drop-step, while both Coach Campbell and Coach DeLeone more of an L-Step. Both talk about a bucket step when more width is needed. Probably just different lingo but I want to understand if there is a distinction.

Coach 4 life, I think you are correct, a lot of people use drop step and bucket step for the same technique, while some only use bucket for the deepest of drop steps when hooking a really wide technique. Coach 4 life, email me at tbran1996@aol.com about the Zweifel series
